McArthur Taylor was born on October 3, 1944, in Ft. Deposit, AL to his mother Mary Johnson, and his father Will Taylor.
He married Jeannie M. Scott on June 24, 1967; to this union were born daughters Samantha and Serena. He enjoyed reading the bible and playing his guitar. He had a very optimistic attitude and always found something encouraging to say. He led a simple and quiet life. He loved his grandchildren and he was extremely proud of them. His wife Jeannie preceded him in death.
McArthur leaves to cherish his memory 2 daughters, Samantha (Harry) Crum, Greenville, AL; Serena Taylor, Birmingham, AL; five grandchildren, Jeremy Austin Crum, Brian Christopher Crum, Shannon Nicole Crum, and Brett Douglas Taylor, all of Greenville, AL, and Sidney Taylor of Luverne, AL, one great-granddaughter, India Noelle Taylor of Luverne, AL; a dedicated cousin, Ray Charles (Loretta) Smith, of Greenville, AL; and a devoted friend Pastor Charles (Janice) Box of Greenville, AL, and a host of relatives, loved ones, and friends.
