Ms. Nancy Neal Benson (Nancycoot) was born on June 2, 1965 in Detroit, Michigan to Erma May Neal, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one grandson, Jaylen Curtis Lee Neal; four uncles: Leroy, James C. James A. and David C. Marshall and one aunt, Josie Marshall.
Nancy attended Hillcrest High School in Evergreen, Alabama. Nancy was a dedicated employee at McDonalds and she later became an employee of Cracker Barrel in Greenville, AL until her health declined.
Nancy is survived and cherished by a loving and devoted lifetime partner, Mr. Anthony Taylor of Greenville, AL; two children: Curtis (Marilyn) Neal of Andalusia, AL, Krystal Neal of Georgiana, AL; five grandchildren, Karlisa Neal, Briana Neal, Niagara Neal, James and April; one Godson, Jace Rhodes; two siblings: Marshall Frye of Evergreen, AL, LaKeta Frye of Evergreen, AL; a very special mother-in-law, Ella Taylor and a very loving father-in-law, Joe Taylor of Greenville, AL; a very special sister-in-law, Shannon Taylor of Grand Rapids, MI; two special friends: Martina Savage of Pike Road, AL, Michelle Rudolph of Greenville, AL. She cherishes memories of her sisters and brother-in-law: Yvette Sellers and Alisha Taylor, both of Greenville, AL, Stella (Joel) Torsu of Mansfield, OH, John (Shamon) McMeans of Norfolk, VA, Joey (Thi Ngoc Thom Nguyen) Sellers of Virginia Beach, VA, Collins (Jessica) Taylor of Greenville, AL, Marcus Taylor of Greenville, AL, and a host nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
