Ronald Pugh was born in Greenville, AL on April 21, 1962, to the parents of Eddie and Rosie Pugh.
At an early age, he joined the Mt. Ida Missionary Baptist Church, where he attended for some years.
He graduated from Greenville High School, where he was a member of the Math team and played football on the school’s team. After graduating, he attended Alabama A&M University, where he earned a degree in Math and a minor in Arts.
He was employed by Alabama Power Company, Alabama State University and the later years at Martin Luther King Jr. High School as STEM teacher in Atlanta, GA.
He was preceded in death by his parents Eddie and Rosie Pugh, sister, Mary Nell Pugh and brother, Joe Neal Pugh.
He leaves to cherish memories of his life: a devoted friend, Alisa Street; stepdaughter, Ashley Williams; stepson, Everett Gary Street, all of Atlanta, GA; sisters: Denise Pugh, Greenville, AL, Martha Savage, Greenville, AL, Cynthia (Willie) Smith, Greenville, AL, Carolyn Woolfolk, Chicago, IL, Lois Calvin, Chicago, IL, Emma Jean (Mac Arthur) Womack, Chicago, IL, Magnolia Pugh, Atlanta, GA; brothers: Eddie (Patricia) Pugh, Atlanta, GA, Marvin (Lesia) Pugh, Montgomery, AL, Henry James Pugh, Pensacola, FL, Bill (Johann) Pugh, Luverne, AL; In addition to this, a host of nieces, nephews, three nieces-in-law and two nephews-in-law.
