Temeka Cook

Temeka was born on September 26, 1978, to Mary Cook and the late James Earl Smith.

Temeka departed this life on January 16, 2025. She was preceded in death by her sister, Shekida Tonette Cook.

Temeka had a “signature smile” that was always present when she was with her family or “rolling with the Crimson Tide.”

Temeka was a graduate of Greenville High School, Class of 1996.

Temeka leaves to celebrate her life: her two beautiful daughters, Kia’Jada Elexus Davidson and Mia Iyonna Atkins; three sisters, LaShonda Cook, Santana Cook, and Kiara Cook; three brothers, D’Angelo Brown, Justin Smith and Laderick Ward; supportive, lifelong friend, James Atkins, Jr.; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
