Mr. Willie James Scarver was born on October 5, 1958, to Allobillier B. Scarver and the late William Powell.
He gave his life to Christ at an early age as an active member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church until his health failed him.
He joined the United States Army and remained active for two years. Willie served as President of the Professional Men’s Club (PMC).
Since retiring from truck driving, he would spend most of his time with his kids and grandkids. His favorite past time was watching the games and wrestling with his grandson, Ja’Vion, ordering food and sharing with grands.
Mr. Willie Scarver leaves to cherish his memories: five children: Sharita, Sharlissa, Shanquita, Felisha (Buskey) all of Greenville, AL and Willie Scarver of Alaxander City, AL; three loving grandchildren: Ja’Vion and Milnya McMeans of Greenville, AL, Eric Watts of Virginia; sixteen siblings: Dorothy Sellers, Annie Sellers and Betty Powell, all of Greenville, AL, Elizabeth Powell of Bay Minette, AL, Lisa and Myrtice Thompson of Luverne, AL, Frank (Mary) Crenshaw of Georgiana, AL, Joe Lee and Jessie Scarver of Greenville, AL, Edward Payne and James Powell of Greenville, AL, Joseph Payne of Enterprise, AL, Johnny Powell of Bay Minette, AL, Wilbert (Brenda) Scarver of Fort Walton, FL, Freddy Powell of Crestview, FL, and Ronald (Keisha) Thompson of New Orleans, LA; a very loving and special aunt Janie Poole of Greenville, AL and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
